Hi Gayle,
In search of an image to reply to your comments, this one stopped me dead in my tracks, simply beautiful, wonderfully warm, and perfectly titled...it is poetry. Impressionistic IS the only way to describe the feeling here...a pleasure to view!
Thank you for the comments on my posts and on Collin's grilled cheese...you were thinking that maybe he wouldn't appreciate such a detailed critique (being only 4) but I did, I learned alot from it! Thanks again.
Take care...Robin

Very beautiful impressionistic image Gayle. Looks very "old world". The muted golds and the vibrant greens are super. Regards--Bill Voizin

Gayle... what a memory. I wish mine were as good. Now I have to dig up our past critiques to each other. I've been around just not a lot. I took a UF break for a little while, but nothing too long.

I liked the thumbnail but really like the larger image even more. Love the warm tones and the greens in this. Very pleasing image to view. Great job Gayle. Artistic and creative.

Cheers - Ann :)

Pretty colors, Gayle, and interesting effect you have created. Much better opened up than in the thumbnail. I think you choose the perfect frame for this one!

hi and thanks for dropping by,Jim...i thought your name sounded familiar so checked when last in contact...July 2004 for me,and Jan.2004 for you back when i came aboard!.....have you been gone from UF,or i just missed your posts?
I tried my regular black borders, but decided to go with these deep purple cinematic style instead to bring out the same color in image and which suits wide format in my humble opinion...will check to see what you are up to when i return tonight....

This works for me... but I'd omit the black bars at the top and bottom. I think a complete black border/frame would enhance the muted colors of your image though. Beautiful work.
