HI Marco! I agree with Janet B about the red hue in your posted first version. You can in PS change with cautocolour - or you can also change with selective change of colour. So to say - only take off red and not adding too much cyan in the same act. I like the crop of the first much better, that you are more to the right - i try to avoid center placement. Especially when you are looking at upper "left" corner oi wouild like to have some air....up there.... BUT all "roles" are to be broken, so, don?t listen to me :)
The sephia with blue are nice and i like those colours better.
Overall a good work Marco!

Preferisco quella che hai pubblicato (prima versione): meno convenzionale nella tonalita usata e piu 'viva'.

I think it is an excellent portrait. Eyes up to catch some good light... I am strongly in favor of the version with the colors intact, the focus on your clear blue eyes is very strong as it is, to reinforce it more unbalances the image to me.

...no spiritual rapture here... i was just playing with light and unusual poses! :)
anyway i cropped the 2nd version this way just because of the 500 pix limitation...

I like both renditions ? I may lean to the quieter tone of the second but prefer the space allocated in the first as it allows the eye to follow the gaze? Not sure if deliberate Marco but a ?religiosity? is evident here, almost the rapture often seen in classical religious art - an attempt at devine connection? A good portrait, and very unusual! Yes, an handsome face.

Marco!
Very spritual!
I feel proud of you,and like yourself i prefer the crop&the color in the hidden "true myself" ,but you have made the right move to hide it from the wandering glances!

janet, maybe i agree with you (but i'm still doubtful...), but the first version has the original colors of the raw photo, i didn't enhance reds...

I prefer the 2nd version much more to the first. The red hue is throwing me off a little :).
Nice portrait, Marco!
