About I have been toying with various names for this one. I imagine that william would have built himself a phallic monument. Other titles included 'Dalek Invasion' or 'I lost my coffee grinder' among others.

Thanks, Rina. I cna't blame him, the older and newer architecture makes for a variety of contrasts. I might try to explore them in the future, when I develop a better eye.

Peace.

Thanks, I was hoping others might find this sight amusing. I htink I'll try to experiment more with the contrast between old and new in London - see how it works.

Peae,

I vote you call it "You Could Put an Eye Out With That Thing!"...but, hey, that's just me...

Thanks for sharing this photo!

How about 'The Giant Gherkin'! Nah, probably too obvious, right? ;)

My husband just got back from London. Has a million shots of the building/monument, but for some odd reason, never ventured much closer to it than this!!

Oh well, I guess most cities around the world are bound to have embarrassing not-well-thought-out architecture somewhere. Although, likely not as 'inyourface' as this one... :))
