About	This is the fist year I grew strawberries. Had lots of flowers, but they were soooo.... sour. Planted too late and not enough sun.

I love the detail in the flower. The petals are so delicate showing the veins and the clarity in the centre is amazing. I love the composition here and the green leaves background are really nice. Good DOF and lighting makes this a nice image to view.

So you have this photo and there's always next year for the strawbs. :) I'm waiting for my green peas to grow now. They've flowered already so I hope the cold doesn't kill them cause I really love fresh green peas. Supposed to be fall planting so we'll see how they grow. I'll have to take photos of my first baby peas when they grow.....if I don't eat them first. haha. :)

Thank you also for taking the time to view and comment on my images Kelly. As for the mushroom shot....mate that wasn't a hands and knees shot. It was a belly shot and the ground was really wet too but I have this HUGE piece of cardboard (about 5 feet long and 4 feet wide and quite thick) left from some needless want we bought and I kept it for just such shots. HA!

Even if the berries didn't amount to anything, at least you got this shot! Very nice macro, Kelly! Good focus, good dof, and good composition!
