About A water balloon hitting a meat thermometer.
I learned how to make a contact trigger. Place 2 metal foils together with a spacer between them and run the wire to your flash anything that makes the foil come in contact with each other
sets off the flash and takes the image.

A meat thermometer - yes, of course. I mean, who would think of using anything else?! What a wild effect.

Dan...this is another winner. I'd hate to be the one to clean up the mess after one of your creative photo shoots. haha

Wonderful imaginative mind you have and you have the knowledge to put it to practical use. Brilliant. Very well done indeed.

Cheers - Ann :)

It's nicely executed, and I may be expecting too much out of the photo, but the impact scatter is so fuzzy that the subject looks like a ball of fur and doesn't really convey the sense of impact. The stand is a bit klunky. It's a neat system, however, and the palette is right on.

Wow. Crazy image and real creativity at work. I'm impressed, Dan! Without the stand in the picture this would be a real stumper.
