Your husband lugs it around.....well that's great! I won't let mine lug it around cause he'll say it's my fault his back is hurting! Did you consider the 400 DO? I just got it, haven't used it a lot yet but did shoot some with it at Lake Martin and it's a great lens! Sharp and light! Darlene

Thanks Darlene! No I didn't keep it, it was too heavy for me to go treking in the back country with. Was fun trying to handle it for a couple of weeks though. My husband didn't like lugging it around either.....Maybe we can find something lighter but until then I do like the 100-400 image stablized lens. Have you read up on Yellowstone yet? Can't wait for you to see it! Pat

Pat, the Moran is good, the picture has an attractive layer of mist working as a graet composition element that separates the picture planes an adds a bit of mystic touch to the frame. Very well done, I would try however to bust an exposure on the front plane of the image a bit, it may add a life to the shot.
