A very atmospheric and effective early morning landscape, Roger. The misty riverscape and sharply focused lone tree, lend a dream like quality. This is opposed by the central, distant chimney/tower, and the many lines in the image.
I like the dominance of the power lines here, Roger, as they add extra interest, and remind the viewer of the technologically orientated, Japanese society (my western perception). Very well observed (at that hour!!) and composed.7.

Send our dog out and he'd never come back, Danny. He's run away from home a few times... and the police have phoned us to collect him from MILES away. Anyway, taking him for his walk is the only exercise I get these days. Occasional glimpes of lovely colours like these are my reward.

Gorgeous sunrise Roger. I am NOT a morning person so I don't see this sight very often. More fun to share it with a four legged friend I bet!

Thats my favourite scenery and theme now, mist and fog (but, alas ! I?m not an early bird, too lazy...) Wonderful foggy atmosphere. The power line thing is a matter of philosophy, not a big issue for me here

Personally i would send the dog out on its own. That's why I don't have any early morning shots. There are some lovely colours and hues in here and you have shown them to advantage Roger.
