Excellent and melancholic documentaryshot. A man begging for a reason unknown to us, and the people passing by. The indifference from the people is heartbreaking. I guess that the more beggars that are looking for handouts, the more common they become to people and thereby slowly becomes invisible. I think this can happen to all of us. I´m not used to beggars and therefore it moves me deeply, but after openening the borders many people from Eastern Europe come to beg, some to work and some to do criminal acts. This means that people in Denmark will also slowly become annoyed and used to people like this. The danger in Denmark is that people who beg here do get money from the state and the people who come from other countries to beg often sit and eat at Mac Donalds or go out and buy fashionclothes after begging. The real victims of poverty deserve to be helped and not to be misused by others acting the same way. Thanks for sharing this. Best wishes Annemette

Stunning shot and composition Larry. And like John I like the blur/motion of the feet. Very powerful image and the tones you gave it only add to that.
Congrats, Kasia

teriffic photo Larry! Can't believe the lack of comments?!?! What I like is the blur of the feett of the people walking by! Gives a teriffic sense of the person crouched down being isolated from the world or just ignored! You have captured this feeling perfectly! Well done Friend! My best......................John 7 !

What a great shot Larry. Well titled for the lighting. An interesting slice of life. I hope that every so often someone helps this little guy out. Your perspective is really great.
