Great capture of this bird in flight Marcus. The wing span shows off the variation in tones of it's feathers very nicely. Very well captured.

Oh it's a lovely bird Marcus, I love the plain feathering of the head and body contrasted with the patterns in the wings, I see these birds on the beach sometimes, and I just love them...they're skiddish though! Wonderfully captured, I really like the close up view of this beauty, well done!

man, perfect timing here! very nice "pose". I really enjoy every one of your photos. We talked about before I did more wildlife a couple of years back and don't have the time any more (kids and job). So even more I really enjoy seeing those photos. I also know how much work, patience and experience it takes to get the photos you have. The quality and quantity your produce is really amazing!

Hi Marcus,
We often pass taking photos of the things we see every day. All the time forgeting that this is an International group and to most of the people this guy might appear pretty exotic. He looks great to me! Beautiful feathers and those little drops of water top it off nicely.

I find this one very beautiful. Lovely subdued colors, great textured feathers and a generally elegant shapeliness. They have my vote . . . And so does this beautifully timed capture.

Regards,
--George

Gotta disagree with the title Marcus. You have my HIGHEST respect in all your shots even though I haven't been able to comment much lately.
I find this shot absolutely delightful. Seems he has just presented himself in front of you, set up a pose, let you take the shot and then disappeared. Terrific detail as always from you.

Great capture. I like the elegance of the outstreteched wings. What kind of crazy behaviour does it show?
