Hi Sharrie.... my suggestion is: take LOTS of pictures!! hahaha... well, taking pictures through dirty airplane windows is really a hit or miss kind of thing. I've done my share of pics thru windows and mostly have been disappointed. Best if the window can be opened (like on a helicopter or small plane) but mostly one is stuck with the dirt and scratches etc and have to try and remove them digitally.... Oh, I love taking pictures of cloud. To me, they are some of the most wonderful works of nature. Somewhat like visiting a fantastic museum. Unfortunately, some of the best cloud formations I ever sighted were on the plane & I've not been great at taking pix through the windows of those planes! If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share :-)

Hi Gary! I took a peep at your entire portfolio here. Wow, I'm inspired! Love your version of the wonderful nature of this part of the world. I've not been to Yukon yet but hopefully soon. Amazing cloud formation & an even more pronounced impact with the mountains below. Great works!

Hi Ann.... well, wouldn't you be surprised if I told you that we did have tv up there (satellite) and phone (sporadic though it was) AND internet access (the most reliable form of communication we had)!! And all this at least 50 miles from the nearest town. Amazing the modern luxuries we can enjoy in the middle of nowhere these days. thanks for the comment. Cheers, Gary

Oh my goodness.....did I miss something in my absence? Like Armageddon perhaps? Nice catch but it must have had you wondering for a while.....you know .....being up there with no TV to get the news...only mountain top smoke signals for communication....oh and the internet of course. :)
