Cari, thanks for making it three in a row! I have another wasp photo with somewhat sharper foreground which I will post next. With macros it is virtually impossible to get foreground elements sharp, so usually, they are not included by the photographer. I will give it another try. Eb

I find the foreground distracting, but I can see what you were trying to do by giving it a try.
Amazing detail in this macro however!

I agree about the disturbing foreground, but I have to say that apart from that, this is an excellent macro, bravo I say. Sometimes we can't always have what we want!

Thanks for commenting Derek. I am also unsure about the foreground. I posted to get some other views. I have seen many photos where an out of focus foreground framing has been deemed quite acceptable composition. It is not usually my style, but I thought the foreground contrasted with and enhanced the detailed sharpness of the wasp. I hope that there are more comments. Eb
