Very blending shot....matching tones and very interesting to have captured the birds from their back...did you sneak up on them?? :) Hope you killed in the exams!

Thanks Mervo, yah I get the idea (the randomness of that picture is hilarious :)) and it is a good one! I like simple images like that too, and the shape of the branch, position of the bird etc. seem to be right for it. Thanks!
I'm so jealous that you have snow!! (or "envious" maybe, the one that means you're not going to kill someone out of fury :P) Have fun and I can't wait to see the shots. (well actually they're already there so I can't wait to finnish this and see, hehe)
Thanks again!
Bye,
Nadia

Nadia, this is very beautiful. The background tones are so restful supporting the repose of the birds. The branches entring the frame at a diagonal add to the dynamic tension. The second bird is the encore!

Wow that's an awesome sky you have there Nadia! I've never seen such a colour it is beautiful.

If i'm honest, I wonder, how this would look with the top part of the image cropped out, leaving the lone bird on the single scraggly branch. Just an idea, I cheated and cloned out that branch too. I hope that you didn't mind me having a play, we all see things differently I guess :)

We have snow here today so I plan on going out later for some +2ev shooting :P
