About: I am an advanced amateur. I've been shooting photos ever since I was little. I think I may have recorded more of my family's history than anyone else. I started with a 126 instamatic. Then I had a 110. My first SLR was a Canon AE-1 Program. I burned a lot of film with it but manual focus yielded me unreliable results and the size and weight had me purchasing a point and shoot. It wasn't until 1996 that I purchased a Canon Rebel G and I have been shooting like crazy ever since. The convenience of it combined with better processing renewed my interest in photography as an artform. I enjoy shooting cars, buildings, abstracts and candids of people. I am an avid Canon fan. I have an EOS 70D for travel, an EOS 1D Mark IV, and EOS 5D Mark III and an Elan IIE. I acquired a studio setup and have been learning how to use it with ever improving results. I am a member of the Western Reserve Photographic Society in Lake County of Ohio. Some of my favorite artists on this site are Dylan Ricci, Joao Sousa and Andrew Caldwell. I hope to have willing models someday so I can experiment with the human form.
