About: Street photography has become more to me than emulating the classic shooters. While my vision has its roots with them, there is more to Street Photography than people walking on the sidewalk. Early on I felt that the entire world was my “street” canvas. Everyplace I would go, indoors or out, was fair game for that candid “street” capture.
The decisive moment that we are all out to catch does not always have to be present either. The aftermath, or aftershock of the decisive moment, can also yield stunning results. All creatures have an influence on their environment, and there are times when you come upon a scene that tells a story even after all the players have left. The “crime scene” street photo is one that was always my favorite.
The photos in my portfolio were taken with these cameras: Nikon D2x, Nikon D200, Nikon Coolpix 3100, Nikon N90s, and Ricoh XR-10.
