looks like you gave a lot of thought to the composition of this wonderful autumn scene and i think it paid you back with a nice image that is a pleasure to watch. if you had waited until the duck reached almost the middle of the river then the effect might be even more balanced and cute ;)
nice work Violetta :)

the high quality in every other aspect of this portrait doesn't leave room for criticism...except for the sharpening treatment which -on my monitor at least- looks less than perfect ;)

Nandor was lucky to have not only a long telephoto there, but also a nice photographic eye (two actually) that helped make this wonderful colorful tasteful abstract ;)

these two pictures form a diptych for a reason that marcin knows best, but for a visitor like me it doesn't work. i'd prefer the nicely shot and treated landscape on the left as a single upload since i like it much better than the portrait on the right ;)

its the amount of movement blurring i find appropriate for a shot like this and i like how the effect matches the title ;)

" Neda is the only river in Greece with a female name. According to the Greek Mythology, Neda was a nymph, a goddess of the water.
The river hides a huge variety of pictures: torrents, tributaries, ravines, heavy vegetation, idyllic lagoons, a canyon of incredible beauty, the dark cave (stomio), small or big waterfalls, arched bridges… everything is impressive!.."
photo taken in the 'Stomio' site of the river (a dark passage/cave 100m long with bats and other creatures).
i used my tripod for a 30sec exposure and covered the camera with a plastic bag to protect it from the water falling from above ;)

the light is wonderful and the tones also very pleasing, but the lady in red is not placed effectively enough in your composition so as to make the image as eyecatching as it could be. anyway,i understand this was a quick street capture that didnt give you the convenience to arrange things better ;)
be happy cessy!

wonderful night shot, it conveys a certain mood very effectively. the composition is clever but i'm not sure about the slight tilting to the right -was it intentional?

hi James,
the ghost effect is marvellous but i would like the rest of the picture to be sharper -in order to contrast better with the blurred figure ;)

welcome to Usefilm, Dragan :)

your picture is a well seen wide-angle shot and the silhouette effect created by the backlighting is nice. i think the composition might be more dynamic if the sitting person was closer to the camera and filled a greater section of the frame - that way the contrast of the two silhouettes would be more eye-catching ;)

hi Djordje,
i'm not sure what you were after, but the length of the exposure is just about perfect to record the available light and create those lightlines, making your image rather yummy (only the silhouette of the wiper distracts a bit)...
if you like similar shots with moving cars at night feel free to visit my 'nightrides' portfolio ;)

even 'spontaneous catches' are enough for beautiful faces to show their style...and it's all the better if the spontaneous catcher is a skilled photographer as well ;) now,the position of the mirror and part of the girl's head somehow distract from the sense of balance in this composition. But being aware of how it was made I know it's not essential, so I'll say nothing more.
be happy marija :)
