Hey Anne,

A splendid view with great lightfall and a well deserved reward. I like the atmosphere you created here :)
Photography as it should be, amazing and inviting you to see a view again...and again...and again
I was quite a while rarely present on this website, because of recovering from an accident. But now I am back: alive & kicking ! So a lot of beautiful views to go after for me...

Wish you & yours a wonderful weekend & greetz,
Albert ;)

Hey Ania,

Beautiful image of Mela :) You show her royalty very well.

To make the view stronger and to put more attention to her special royalty, you can consider a lower point of view with youw camera. That brings more tension in a view.

Wish you & yours a splendid weekend & greetz,
Albert

Hi Jacques,

Very nice portrait :)The man and his world :)
Must be a great view once you've reached the top, as I remember from my tours in Austria and Switserland. Came not further than about 2850 meters, but the view was breathtaking. One of my most beloved experiences;)
Good that Helene was with you, to share this beautiful feeling.

Wish you and yours a wonderful weekend & greetz,
Albert

Hallo Harry,

Veel wijsheid toegewenst... and good luck, happiness and health,

Albert :( ;), in die volgorde

Woooow Jacques,

Wouldn't like to meet these ! But a perfect shot of the expression, that showes why we should be afraid of them.
Splendid composition and the refection adds definitly.
In line of these creatures, razorblade sharp catch.
You did a fine job here. Compliments !

Greetz,
Albert;)

Dear Shirley,

You created here a perfect fragile and dreamy atmosphere that works very positive on my emotions.
Looking at it I simply do not dare to move, afraid that I disturb this peaceful atmosphere. Breathtaking beautiful !
I love this personal style of you a lot, specially in views like this one. A whole story expressed in one image.
A fairytale that inspires my phantasy. What's the story behind it, who is this girl, why is she there ?
I've seen this view more than ones. Everytime it invites me to see it again and again...
When a piece of photoart like this peaceful view can achieve this, than it is a proven masterpiece.

Wish you and yours a fine evening and health,
Albert ;)

Hey Srna,

Some time ago. Sometimes I am gone and than I am back again. I was searching for a photo of you and found this one...

I am like the traveller, without destiny... always looking for new views. My aim is travelling.

Next week I leave to visit Hungary and Slowakije. So close to you. Would you like to meet and do some shoots together, you are very welcome.

Let me know and we'll find our way.

Although time slips away, your view is more beautiful than ever... combined with your great poetry these two really catch me.

Hope you are doing fine. Dear Srna, you are a wonderful person. Great to know you.

Fine evening, hugss & greetz,
Albert Jacobs ;) ;)

Hello Claudia,

This is a great shot ! I like the way you caught the concentration and your choice for a small field of sharpness just on the concentrated expression. Your choice of DOF and POV are excellent and contribute a lot to this wonderful action portrait. My compliments !

Hi Wolf,

Splendid view of these three and perfect POV !

You have a wonderful portfolio. I'll take a closer view soon.

What I don't understand is the name in the right low corner of the photo (Harry Goldhoorn) in relation to the name
(Wolf Zorrito) you show in your portfolio ?

Heey my dear Srna,

You shouldn't be behind a PC. Better take the advices of your UF-friend serious !

STOP computing NOW !, go for a good and nice rest and recover well.

I really think we have to act very DIRECTLY to CONVINCE you or COMMAND you about what is good for you ! So I agree with the Bixy approach !

Don't get frightened, just joking. I know grownup track their own line, no matter what one says.

Hope you take care of yourselve. I do appreciate very much you being in my life.

Warm greetz and huuggs,
Albert

Hi my dear Srna,

I was gone for a while. It frightened me to hear that you had severe trouble with your health. But I am glad your're doing better now.

Be carefull, I agree with other advices that friends gave to you, please rest and recover ! That's the first aim, you should work one. All other matters are not important !

The shot of "friendship energy" is so straight to the heart and so expressive, my dear friend. It touches me so deep !
It's a wonderful expression, square was an excellent choice and theze colours are magical !

Now, please rest my dear Srna and take all time to recover.
You know, we would appreciate to enjoy more of your beautiful shots in the future. So, really follow the advice and take all time you need for this.

Anyway, I am glad that you're doing better now and that you are recovering from this severe disease.

I wish you maximum recovery and good health for the future !

Warm greetz,
Albert :)

Wonderful view you created here, a pleasure to see this great lightfall on the uplightening light-green leaves. The freezing and light you chose for the waterfall is perfect.
A very romantic nature shot. Indeed classical, but so nice to view. Your lucky to live near such a beautiful place. I also like the pov you chose. Well done !

Hi dear Mary,

Remember that there are no naive questions. Every question someone asks is excellent and brings a chance to learn and to understand.
I have no secrets, so one can ask me always everything (s)he wants. I will always try to explain what I did as good as possible (I know some English, but there is a limit if it becomes very technical)

My explanation was also a bit of a joke. By "my professional lightunit MaqLite", that I used here I mean that I simply used a strong handtorch made by the company MaqLite.

The colortemperature of any torch brings this yellow/gold light. The exact result depends on the combination of aperture and shuttertime you chose on the camera.
Also the after processing with photoshop influences the final colors.

What I did here with photoshop was: a bit more saturation, clear up the light and add some contrast.
These ingredients changed the white upper half of the white printpaper into blue.
I know it seems difficult when talking about it here, but in reality it is quite easy, once you are used of working with the effect a torchlight can bring in combination with photoshop.

I used it many times to create a warm atmosphere, so I can predict more or less what will happen under certain circumstances.
Hope the explanation helped a bit to understand what I did and please don't hesitate to ask about everything you would like to know, my dear friend.
I am glad to share it with you and every fellow photographer on UF or elsewhere.

I added a picture of my "professional" torch to give you an idea of how it looks like.

Should you ever be near Holland I will explain more stuff about photography to you and maybe we can also do some shooting together.

Warm greetz,
Albert Jacobs
