I see you changed it.
good. as much as I don't like digital, I am not in favour of ridiculing it..

I think some people actually look for camera/technique info to better understand the image, and hopefully learn by it.

and all your info was about digital - do you have a digital camera? (hope not)

well - just an observation.
nice to see your images again!

hi jeroen
thank you. It is allways nice when people give critiques..
about the "bad" scan - I don't think so... it is rather because of the use of camera - the Diana just simply can't take sharp pictures...(if that's what you meant)

the image is dark, I know. maybe a tad too ark hee on the screen, but I do like dark images, so it might "just" be a matter of taste.
best regards
emil

hi Rob

the soda used in bleaching my cyanotypes, is the normal one you can buy in grosery stores..
it is "Natrium carbonate" diluted in water - nothing else..
(about a spoonfull in a liter of water)
tannic acid can be used to give more redish/purple tones, and tea is used to brown tone the stuff..
use tea with lot of tannic acid to give deeper brown tones.

well terry...
I'll gladly give you my opinion.
this is absolutely stunning! I like the whole da*m thing....
the composition is SO nice, and is a great excample on how the pinhole does for a picture..every thing is equally focused... what a DOF...
to "admit" that it was as a "stand" you use the camera just makes this more impressive....

please keep experimenting - and as you don't have your Holge as of yet - then throw your digital camera out in stead....

about the colour..
I made a pot of coffee at my coffee mashine - left, and forgot it....
so when I returned it was almost evaporated compleately....
I actually tink it is almost red in tones - I have never tryed a tone of coffee that intense...
