Great shot and very interesting you posted the original one.
I think you did a very good job also in post production, giving a magic light, but without create an "improbable" ambient by Capture NX.
I also have a nice volcano: just come to have a look ;-)

I love this place, David. The Sierra Buttes are just awesome. I drove in my 4x4 all the way to the top once to catch the peak of the buttes in golden sunset light. Trying to get down the other side at night was a real challenge, so we turned around and went out the way we came in, past Sardine Lake. Very nice composition and lighting. Would have been nicer if there were a bit more details in the dark areas - did you use a graduated neutral density filter by chance? Thanks for sharing!! 7/7

To get of the path of Ansel Adams' Yosemite as we both photographed I think this piece is one of romantic 'neon' charm especiaLly that I am partial to blues. Very well taken and thanks for sharing!

Outstanding color, composition and depth of field! Image really pops and is very vibrant... almost has a 3D effect to it. Hard to believe this is in Sparks, Nevada! You must have a very nice, lush backyard! Thanks for sharing! 7/7
