A really fine capture here....The wonder and curiosity in her eyes is magic! The entire scene is full of interest and there is much to see, but the young girl remains at the center of the eye and the heart! Congrats on your BIP...A memorable image for sure....

This image is wonderful. Composition is superb, the child's face provides a centre of interest but the woman's face has the ability to subvert your attention momentarily allowing you to explore other details as your eye returns to the child's face.
Apart from that, the image tells us so much about life in India and the people who have influenced your photographic style.
A very revealing shot Aparajito. Excellent work .

This is an amazing capture considering it was taken recently. It looks like a photo taken by the old masters of photography or, as you suggest, a scene from a black and white movie. The only thing that gives it away is the hint of green. I didn't like it (the green highlight) at first but changed my mind when I considered this is a modern version of a classic image

Wow.. excellent street capture as I like.. Perfect pov and frame with the car passing on the right which gives some life with the walker to your composition. The tonal range is also perfect.
