This is the newly remodeled and reopened 1916 wing of the Cleveland Museum of Art. The restoration is a work of art in itself.

Best regards

Graham
This is from a series of 18" x 24" posters I have produced titled "Doors Of The Dead". I already have uploaded one poster here and will upload the rest in time. This door is from a tomb and was shot in Mayfield Cemetery in Cleveland Heights Ohio. The posters are a series of tomb doors such as this one.

This was shot on a raining July day which really helped set off the colors and stains on this sandstone tomb. This is the first of the individual doors shots that I've posted here.

Best regards

These doors were shot in the Fall of 2005. As you can tell it was just after Halloween.

Thanks

Jim

Congratulations! This is a fantastic collection that shows the money that was once in Cleveland. Deep shadow or overcast lighting adds to the uniformity and mood.

Just a little background on this posting. This was shot in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland Ohio. As cemeteries go it is quite famous. President Garfield's tomb is there plus many famous people such as John D Rockefeller and Elliot Ness to name a few.

I've shot this same scene three winters in a row and this is the first one that I'm satisfied with. Which go to show that one has to keep plugging away at certain scenes because conditions mean everything.

Thanks everybody for you wonderful comments.

I've made another edit. I changed the white boarder to a light gray and added a thin black boarder (two pixels) around each door picture. It added a touch of separation to each frame and I think it makes it work better.

Great composition and textures of all the different parts of the capture. Snow covered leafless shrubs, evergreens and sky. Really has a great mix to add to the structures own elements. Nice work and effort.
Be well, Stan
