Don't know how I missed this one. it's amazing!
the crop is pretty tight, but gives it a very painterly feel. Very nice details, and contrast! That sky is so unreal!

My eyes and Heart still break as I see these old items destroyed, one by one. Though it was raining, I managed to shoot a great imege ( I think) of an old house where some friends once lived. May post it later.

Of all the barn shots I like this one best Michael. I guess I enjoy colour in my world although I do like your most recent with the sky perspective very much also. I See you used avery wide angled lens which cause the distortion. I'm thinking it's intentional to add effect to the collapsing effect. It works well here to have the water tower leaning in towards the barn. A great scene.
Thanks for dropping by my farewell image. Yes I would like more info about the Sprint system you mentioned there. I'm leaving in a about a week.

Yes. We have a lot of these concrete bridges, I think they had a way of churning them out off of templates. Now they are mostly starting to come apart and age.

This color image of the barn is spectacular! You have chosen a great perspective for the color representation. This is an equally wise use of color as your "Barn, Sky" image is a wise uyse of B&W. Two very different and very wonderful renderings of the same subject. Take a bow!

Hey Brian:
Yeah - you can actually place the location in the US if you study barns and their types. For example, some in Kentucky are black and low to the landscape. It all depends where you are and the architecture even varies a bit.
If you like this, you should check out Carol Watson who I think does a better job in Texas.

it seems only in america do you have these classic disused barns that make such attractive photography.nice balance of colour and good exposure.angle of shot is spot on to capture the surroundings.
