Agree about the tail! The grainy effect is curious, it seems to make the subject fuse into the background, as if it wasn't a real cat, but the spirit or ghost of one, haunting the place. A great way of abstracting - a photo not of a cat, but of feline essence. Nice work!

Nice composition. I'm glad that you left her tail in the photograph, it adds elegance to the piece, sort of the way a long train on a dress. Nice capture.
