I know, it's perfectly placed that dash of light, on the nosering... I'm so used to noticing them having had many in my day. I love light on the hair too. Jacqeline,
When making portraits make sure the eyes are clear and crisp en well lit. So seek an environment with diffuse light.

Hi Wolf, yes, she is my only sister and is ten years younger than I am. There is no shortage of male attention for her :) Thank you for your advice, i am always happy to learn, so suggestions are always welcome with open arms. The hair is very much in focus, you are quite right! I am at my sister's place at the moment, spent 12 hours on a train yesterday to get here. I am a little north of sydney now. Gold hair she has. Youve done very well Jacqueline. May I advice ? Use an aperture f/15 to f/25. Right now her hair is focussed and her face needs a bit more sharpness. Use some light in a shade, eg under a tree, Youve got a fine camera.
Is she a younger sister or the youngest sister ?
Guess the boys are lined up for her ;-)
