Beautifully sharp - you have done well to have the sparrow stand out so well against the busy and similarly toned background. And yet there is enough detail in the background to give a good sense of the location. I also like the inclusion of the branch and half-eaten berries.

Biedne one sa w miescie, chociaz przywykly do gwaru i juz nie boja sie ludzi. U mnie przed oknem czesto tocza walki z sikorkami. A w szczycie pobliskiego domu maja gniazdo. Jak przylatuja szpaki, to wtedy da sie wyczuc respekt, ale sa zadziorne i dzielnie walcza o jadlo.

So Ania, this is the famous pirate in full camouflage . Love the title, a wonderful play with the name. The shot is excellent for you have managed to isolate the dull colours of this little bird against the backgroud with a superb dof. The details in the feathers are again excellent and I can even make out a hint of catchlight in it's tiny beady eye. Well done to you sweetie, a difficult capture executed perfectly. The sparrow is a rather common bird, but not your capture Ania. Such sharp and clear representation with a surprising background. Very good to use a house such soft with DOF. Also because the common sparrow is called huismus "house sparrow" in Dutch. The association with a house is also for that reason such evident. 7/7

Great shot to isolate the bird against similar toned background. I think the building adds so much to the shot here as these birds are exactly what you would expect to see in abundance in the suburban neighbourhood.
