look you guys, kaj etc, if i had of cropped the photo where you suggest i would have cut out that big yellow circle which is also called the sun and part of my shot, the top of the telegraph pole i thought gave it that sense of realism.

Certainly a beautiful sky Mike. Great colours and lightning too. Yes I think you should crop the overexposured spot out, like Kaj suggested. I agree with you, through the eye of the camera your view at the world around you changes more and more. So go on clicking and enjoy all the beauty around you! My best regards,

i find the pole a little disturbing, i personally would have tried to clone it out, but that's just my opinion. it's still a great image!!
