Is this the same image? The composition is much better! I would not change the colour of the car, this was quite OK. The rusty colour also matches with the background. I suppose you blurred the background because of the distracting cables, maybe it is better to keep the background sharp and use the 'clone stamp' to remove the cables. (I would prefer a sharp background because the landscape is very characteristic, it adds something to the image).

I see the effect also, sort of neat. I don't know if it makes the shot better or worse but it does make it different. The shot it's self before the adjustments could be improved by shooting in different light... I think the main focus of this shot is the cars in front and maybe focus in on that.

The blurring and grayscaling have made this subject look like a miniature. I had a peek at the uncropped one and it looked real enough, no question. What a bizarre effect...do you see it too, or am I just going blind?
The composition is much better this way (in my own opinion of course).
