About couldn't get out of this one! I'd never seen a wasp taken by a garden spider before. Not living in the most exotic of locations I guess! I really need to get a proper Macro lens before next Spring so I can raise the quality a bit.

I happened to get a shot of a spider with prey yesterday and have found it to be a very difficult task, but I'm sure a macro lens will help you. I think for a first post your dragonfly in flight is amazing. You seem to have a lot of patience!

Shame it?s not a little sharper, and maybe cropping the top and left down a little would de-centralise the subject.

Hi Bruce, Very good shot; the wasp entangled in the web creates a very nice change to the subject. There are many spider shots on UF, but a spider with prey is not often seen. Refreshing!

Cheers,

Hugo

Nice capture Bruce. That spider is wrapping the wasp up good.
