... both ladies in this pictureare from the bride's side. Wearing yellow saree is bride's friend and wearing blue clothes is bride's younger sister.
Bride is my uncle's (Mama ji)daughter.

Hi Shiv Kumar,
Beautiful. Good capture of mood. Each of the three ladies in the frame shows excellent expression in their face. Your photograph perfectly captures this, and this is where lies the excellence of this picture.
1. The lady in yellow sare is bit sad, and even in sadness whe poses for your photograph. He must be from bride's side.
2. The lady in blue saree is very happy, she must be from bridegrooms side and she is happy to get her bhaby in their home.
3. The Bride - she shows an excellent expression of sadness, uncertainity and her stern unmindful look at a far end shows she is thinking about her unknown future ahead. The red color of her saree makes her the subject of the picture.
Your perfectly picture captures all these moods.
These are just my assumptions. Correct me if I am worng :)
We wish her a very happy married life.

I thought it was a weding before I read your caption, Suria. You captured the looks on the womens' faces so well. The bride looks a bit anxious, perhaps even sad, the woman in blue is evidently happy and the one in red and yellow looks a bit suspicious.

Hi Shiv! sometimes my work bring me away from camera and UF :-( and, so, only in lunch time (here are 13.28 AM :-) i can look photos of my friends and post some my photo. Anyway, when i come back in UF i find always great shots of my friends!
Here, i say "What's fantastic colours, shiv"..real colors of a real life. Moreover, you are succeed in freezing the fears and the emotions of the bride!

It would have been my best picture too if I took this one. Great colors & capture of superb variety in moods: (i) Bride's uncertainity-stress, (ii) Near and dear's anxiety and (iii) Excitement comes thro' so clearly. Over all, (iv) a very excellent journalistic shot that tells a colorful cultural tale of an East-Indian (monsoon:0) wedding! Never mind reading between those happy lines, Surya, you immortalized digitally, a downright delicate day in an individual's life!!
