Nice wide angle effect. U give the life to the Pratimas(inanimate thing). The inclusion of the bor in midst is a great idea.
I have not seen such a composition ever. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, the little boy in there really makes this image special. The lighter faces on the statues help bring it to life as well.

Jorge,

As a human being,we are more or less religious inside, architectural outside, but deeply strangely infinitely surreal when we look back!

I come from a very strange city in India called Kolkata.

This looks like the quickening of many sleepless nights, Jara! (Don't turn around!)
Excellent composition. From the thumbnail I was expecting a static image, but the small boy and his emotion make a fine image hum.

Eb Mueller Eb Mueller   {K:24960} 11/15/2005
This composition is very dramatic in composition, subject matter and lighting. The vulnerable child in the centre is pivotal in making the story outstanding. Jara, thanks for commenting on my image because it caused me to find your portfolio. You list a 180 mm. lens but the perspective suggests a wide angle was used - am I wrong?

Awe-inspiring shot, a small child eneveloped by masks and graven images. Great framing, and terrific depth of field! This is a superior photograph that says a lot.
