Yep I found Phillip. Ann said she has a few weeks off, we will be in Sydney the weekend of the 29th June and the following weekend too, know any good coffee shops? Have to catch up before she starts jetsetting all over the world. CC

Hey, Chris if using PShop, convert your image to sRGB before uploading - it will help to maintain consistent colors!

Cheers,
Chris

Hello Chris
Thank you again for spending time with my pic. Appreciate your thoughts on composition. When taking it I admit that I was a little focused on the sky.
I find when I size and convert for the web my pics become less saturated!! I now endeavour to compensate for that, but not on this one. I will try the B&W it sounds good.
Best regards,
Chris

An interesting image, although I would say it is sort of crowded. The sky is a pefect example of blue skies and white clouds, however it isn't really able to be seen as a focal point.

The broken fence seems to hold the most interest with it's disjointed form. Perhaps concentrating on the fence, and sky in the background would have simplified the composition while allowing the form of the fence to take center stage.

Also, perhaps a B&W conversion w/ the above mentioned composition would allow the texture of the fence to show through over the color in the image.

Also. there seems to be a reddish cast to the image as well as muted colors and contrast, which is an easy fix.

Cheers,
Chris

I thought so, Christopher!

Whenever we come to Orange we go that way. It's a great run.

Yes Phillip we were coming back from Goulburn and pulled over at a viewing area for the wind farm. It was cold and windy but worth the stop.

A lovely image, Christopher! Great colours and comp! So typically Australian! Wonderful!

Was this taken between Croowell and Goulburn?

Cheers

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique I think that this shot is about the fence. One is grabbed by tthe nature of it broken and just standing
