This is a powerful image. The man's facial expression is almost blank, bordering on one of sadness. The bit of motion blur with his bow suggests slow movement, perhaps indicating a slower-paced song. It seems to me as if this man is playing the song of his life. All the experiences and sentiments, all the feelings and musings of his life summed up in this one, timeless piece of music. He's alone in this shot. With the empty space on the right side of the frame suggesting an empty room, this man plays for himself. The reflection in his glasses implies the reflecting he's doing himself in regards to his own life. The wrinkles and gnarled contours of his face are telling me that he's been around for quite while, he has much to reflect upon, he has much wisdom behind those glasses, he's got much to unleash upon the world. His violin seems to be his voice, through his own experiences, he teaches. Remarkable work
