Ciprian:
Long exposures because the light was low and I wanted to use a very high F-Stop to get the most crisp image possible.

Works very well as a collage, I like the lighting very much. Why such long exposures?

I'm really impressed with this series of shots you did. I also very impressed with what little you had to work with and what AMAZING results you ended up getting. Great work as always, Michael. 7/7

Hi Mike, See you're still pursuing flowers, heh? Not quite my thing, but if I had to pick one, I'd say middle row second shot.
Impressive unity between the individual photos, and a very good presentation indeed. But foremost, I'm impressed with the creativity you used with your Ingredients... Where have I seen that use of the word before....?
Very nice job....:)
Cheers,
Hugo

Thanks Bart -
Just for you, and explaination...
I put the flower below a window, and I happened to grab a black dress and drape it for the background. I used a white piece of matte board for a little bit of bounce lighting. Last of all - set up on the tripod, expose for 30 seconds, wait another 30 seconds for noise removal, then shoot again...

Another fine step in the Kanemoto 'floral' era. Very nice presentation.
