Andre - Very true. They really are to be LOOKED at. Long and hard. Some of them have the most amazing details that a quick view will never reveal. Here are a couple others from this same area of the park:

I like prying diversity out of the subject.

Hi James, Very similar. On another note, sometimes this type of image takes a while to grow on people. They are kind of sleepers in that respect. Once you get to like them, they can become favourites. Andre

Gayle - Well, I'll write to the gallery and see what comes of it. Nice to know that works like this have the potential to be taken seriously. I believe in them; just never sure what other eyes might be ready for.

Gayle - Thanks. If he is still alive, he can join the Luxagraphic movement. Is this anyone you know?

Tuna - Thanks. It was a little surprising really because so often the sky wants to go white if the shadows are colored well. I like the color range in this one.

Raquel - Thank you. That's an excellent idea. I will have to wait until I buy a digital SLR because I do not have that level of contol with this SD550. It will be interesting to see how varying the f-stop will alter the results.

Sweet. It is your personal style! It would be nice to make one study/collage, using same movements of camera but few different apertures. Greetings R
