Thanks for the comment Mark, sorry don`t remember the exposure but that`s not too important. The main thing is to get a good image and manipulate itThis image was shot with NIKON D70 and hoya R72 filter,I converted the D70 thru Lifepixel.Getting very good results from it but most importantly I
can shoot and compose without the filter.I don`t think I would spend so much money converting the 5400 which I think has a hotspot, you can get the d50 used at a good price and you just get a lens to upgrade rather than a compact plus the image quality will be better.I uses different lenses
that are IR compatable and shoot at least f8 which take care of the focusing issues.
If you still want to convert the 5400,I think you should get a IR filter and make sure there is no hotspot.
All of these images are reposts of my original portfolio with some tweakings. You need to know the IR work flow,I uses cs2 and my work flow is posted in the FORUM here[Usefilm]
Any further help just ask.
Take care
Robbie

There is a lot to love about this one Robert. Nice job on the exposure and the choice of details for infrared. The reflections are awesome. Can you help us with some details? Exposure info ? I this a converted D70 or shot with an IR filter? What lens? I have a Nikon Coolpix 5400 that I have considered as an IR candidtae from Lifepixel. Let us know! Great job my friend.

cheers, -mm
