If you had got your fat a*** out of bed Saturday morning I would have picked you up marra, Ha ha ha. As you say, always worth a trip up to this beautiful Island, tides permitting of course.

Ray, thanks for your kind words. In fact I have only visited the Sycamore Gap once. I was lucky with the weather that day. It was a long drive from Manchester and back in a day.
I am indebted to another Usefilm member ‘Jo T’ for all her advice in finding this famous spot. Also I hope one day, to visit the Holy Island too (maybe this summer?) one of my must visit places. Regards

Ah Tony Hunter! all things B&W eh? You have some superb images in your portfolio my friend, believe it or not it was a toss up between Holy Island this morning (sat) and the Old Military Road B6318 for Sycamore Gap of which you know very well. BIP and all that. But the tides were right and Holy Island won can't complain with some of the shots I got so Sycamore Gap next week maybe! Thanks for your comments, they are very much apppreciated coming from someone such as yourself who takes cracking B&W images. Forgive me for not commenting on your portfolio as yet, when I get a bit more time I will endeavor to do so. regards Ray.
