I simply have to ask myself why such extraordinary artistic pieces of work are not taken into the BIP or some other group of best photos here in this forum. While these groups seem to be filled with that kind of "sentimentality of photography", there are rarely such strongly suggestive images there, like for example this one. And so I have to ask quite directly, are we supposed to shoot only "nice" ones, avoiding any thoughtful exploration in the fields of photography?
After this, let's have a closer look to this exceptional work. It has something of old fashioned photography with its sepia-like coloring and many "unclarities" that still provide a very original texture to the image. And the same "unclarities" cause also a very modern look, like many posters of concerts of nowadays underground bands. The unexplainable expression of the girl is another of the strenghts of this one. It is only depicted as it was at that moment, without any intention to make it look like anything else. And despite all those additional dots and lines, the shadows and lights in the tonality of the face are excellent. If we add the fact that the face is rather high-keyish but the whole image has some low-keyish look and fell, then we can only say that this is one of the strongest and most expressive works in the forum.
