Outstanding portrait. My dad is a jazz pianist and through my life I've gone to a lot of shows. This picture captures that combination of satisfaction of a good night (on the stage), exhaustion, and wired-ness, that a night's playing engenders. The beer and the cigarette and the tired yet satisfied face really captures that feeling. I also love the upside down chairs behind the man. Thanks for posting this.
