A very good portrait, rich I can say, even without a strong emotion on his face the composition of some small elements like the big eyes (opened well) and the tiny smile gives a very strong result on the expression, happiness, somehow he things something very nice for that moment... great!

Its a very nice shot and good lighting but with that camera and that lens, the picture should be much sharper, it looks soft, so either more shutter speed or wider aperture is required.
