I love the mood you created. This is dark. However, it is not an unhappy darkness but is rich and beautiful. Your attention to detail and composition combined with your use of light make this a compelling, very appealing image.

Hi Bradley, thank you very much for your kind comments, Yes i do quite a bit of post processing, mainly dodging & burning to try and enhance the existing lights and shadows. I generally use two exposures one for the sky and the other for the foreground, after that it's down to whatever way the image leads me. I know for some people this type of imagery may be a bit too 'Dark' and somber but I see beauty in the shadows (maybe I should change the medication!!) and am a big fan of 'Rembrante' and the way he painted lights and shadows. To put it in a nutshell I am more interested in the image than I am in the photograph. (If that makes any sense?? and at risk of offending the purist's of the photographic community) Anyway Bradley I do it because I love it and I really do appreciate your comments so thank you very much and if there is anything I can help you with just let me Know. Kind regards......Jim

James, your work is incredible. So dramatic, so beautiful. It tugs at all of my senses. I would love to know more about how much (if any) digital editing you do (and please.. that is not meant to be critical. I consider that process to be creative and artistic.) Your methods, your eye, and your imagination are all operating at a very high level. Bravo. ~Brad
