We were out at Montauk a few years ago when windsurfing was the thing - there is a lake and there was a gentle wind - perfect conditions for learning how to windsurf. My friend caught on right away. I took pictures.
I believe you can go quite fast in a kayak. I heard that John F. Kennedy was an avid kayaker - took an excursion up in the land of the midnight sun - Norway or something - and had some close calls. I think he liked danger, or he was just stupid. After all, he attempted that flight to Martha's Vineyard without any knowledge of instrument flying and lost the horizon - his only guide line.
Have you looked at some of the other photography on Usefilm? There is some awesome stuff.
Very, very nice, John. I would like to see a bit of both the top and bottom cropped, making it a more "wide" image. The color and composition are very good. Good eye!
