It makes me sad, hearing you want to leave, Merete. Your pictures give other "fools" like me so much encouragement to stay. The only difference, you are not a "fool". Your pictures are marvelous, and the only reason, why I'm not commenting every one is lack of time (retired;)).
But if you really will leave - and it seems that you decision can't be revised - let me at least know where you are going. You can reach me under mahescholz@inode.at .

Thanks, Pat...I appriciate your interest.
But...you see...I'm no photographer...I do not have the passion for photography s you guys have in here. I like to play! Like to express feelings... hopefully touching someone's heart!
I understand perfectly why so few are interested in my work... cause technically there's nothing to come after.
If I should start taking different kind of stuff I can't do it with the equiptment that I got... and I wouldn't even know what I would need and it doesn't mean that much to me.
That's why I want to close this site...

I think your nuts. "close down my site", "Playing Fool" What's up? Having a bad day? Discouraged by some bad reviews? Some shot didn't turn out the way you wanted? With all do respect, get a grip! Maybe take a break for a while. But you are no "playing fool"! You have excellent work here. A collection of wonderful photos. My only suggestion might be to expand your horizons. Experiment with something. But don't give up. Your work is loaded with talent. I think you might just be going through what many, if not all artists go through. We think we can reach perfection, perhaps, but only for a moment. That's what gets us frustrated and that is also what keeps us going. I, for one, am very much looking forwad to your next post...........

There is one that plans to leave... but then there are some of us that have enjoyed her submission... from time to time...
Spring is but a 'new beginning', and so let it be... and stay a while... for the days are getting longer... and we will all enjoy...
