Thanks JakeLM! This was originally colour but i prefer it in b&w,suits the mood of the street. The lines aren't distorted in the original, only happened when i changed it,must've done something wrong, not very experienced in PS yet! :)

I like this kind of photos, and this is original in perspective and composition.
I love the contrast and the tones of this b&w.
Not sure about the distortions of the lines...

Hi Jacqui - to clarify - I was _complimenting_ the cold look of the photo in contrast to the implied warmth! I feel it adds an interest and depth - and also gives an 'emotional cold' in the abandoned buildings!

Hi Steve, thanks for your comment,it does look a bit cold, need some more practise in P.S! The b&w version conveys the mood alot better than the colour tho,it was a beautiful Summer day but it was a cold, sad street. :)

hi Jacqui - nice b$w - lots of emotion implied by the abandoned buildings. Feels a little rotated to the right - but that doesn't spoil it.

Tones make it feel very cold - with cntrast to the relative warmth implied by the cabbage tree...

Thnak you very much for you comments - yes I truly believe NZ has many many awesome photo-ops
