About A 10 year old boy standing in front of a cliff of... 370 million years
made of fish, shells, and animals fossilized into multi-layers; my father, me and my son add up to 170 years only.

Amicalement, drilan

Good evening, Drilan. The comment here was the comment of a retired engineer, so it had to be seen mathematically and not philosophically. If you compare the 370 millions of years with the age of men and you add the number of years of three men, I thought it would be appropriate to add the years of the multilayers of fossiles, and then you end with much more than 370 millions. Or you don't add the ages of the three. I confess it's difficult even for me to understand.

To the sanctuaries: You bring the church tower and the advertising tower in relationship, we say to bring it under an umbrella. But you can see in the photograph, both are above the umbrella, so I thought thea are in the wrong side;-)

I will try to make my comments better understandable. Do you speak German? Lol

You can add up only the age of your father, Drilan;) Otherwise you had to add all the ages of the different layers and end up with billions of years (or eternity);-D
A lovely comparison of old and young!

Kind regards, Markus
