Lovely clear colours with a sharp subject. This composition would work well in B&W also.
The title you gave this image tints it slightly sad

Rich sky colours with cloud drama. The cloud pattern looks as though stemming from the church top...nice capture Kaj.

Nice capture of lines and patterns going everywhichway. The dark suited man gives perfect anchor point. Very nice shot.

Amazing photo series you have created. Each knit a different story yet the set fit so well together. Of this, the girls' eyes and expression draw one to ponder what exactly they might be looking at that bring the pleasure in their faces. A wonderful capture indeed.

Peppino, Not just this portrait alone but all of your work in your portfolio is stunning. I am enjoying your series of 'faces' very much. I note you work a lot with slow velvia...Fuji should be proud of their film in your able hands.

Christian, this is a lovely image. There's a gracefullness to the way the flowers tail off which you have masterly captured and ofcourse the light you caught that threads through the growth is wonderful.
Personally, I much prefer the orginal frame as is. Rather like the contrast of the slightly sitting aback softened stem in full frame.

I was so very surprised across the boarder to see that this is yours Mr.Transit! As this is the city where my roots are, I picked up on it. I am right now on route HK to the city of 12 million soon. Your bio does say you travel - I'll need to walk through your work to see where else you go!
This is a nice shot, I'm still amazed you found a clearing on the streets of Shanghai to take this shot. The two ladies on the near right add the pop to this shot and ofcourse the man on the bike coming in the opposite direction gives the added interest.

A big person(in motion), a little person, sparkling sea in B&W with lovely tonal ranges...added together equals a very lovely photo, and well deserved EC.

How different this table and the surround will look in the summer.......meanwhile, this deep winter capture is tranquil and beautiful.

Heartbreaking when one loses a pet and such a cute one at that. Lovely portrait shot to remember this special friend by. Very well done.

Becky, I'm not mad about the colour shot but like the B&W a lot. The lamp post doesn't bother me, if anything it adds interest to the night shot, imhp ofcourse. Though if you decide to keep it in the frame, you may need to correct the perspective of the post just a little.

Hi Kim
I like the drama of this composition of the rough sea, the wondeful foreground rushing water. I think the sail boat adds to this shot.
I'm hoping you don't mind that I'm taking you at your word of finding some other point of veiw and came up with the attached, in which I took the colours out, lightened the rocks a bit and added a slight tone. This ofcourse totally wastes your velvia.
Just an idea and an excuse to play in PS.

Fun Street shot. The toning you gave the images help to give the 'pop'. A couple of 'hot spots' in the two outer shots on the pavements, but doesn't take away from this 'happy' capture.

The toning worked a treat Becky. This actually looks middle of the nightish. Mary is right about the bits of high light among the branches though to be fair, one has to really focus to notice.

Good work, sleep easy - this time

Very pretty colours of sunset Lori. You've captured the sky details well and ofcourse the rich spread of copper almost gold on the water is just magical. Must have been something to see in real life. Guess I would have liked to have seen a tiny bit more detail in the dark areas but the sky & sea is afterall the main point here. Well done.

Very nice B&W capture Stuart. I like your DOF control here and the unusual high angle of the shot.

Darrin, I need to find out from you how to get to this place. I would love to see this for myself. Sometime ago, I bought a large B&W print of the same bridge which I love. This golden version is just as beautiful. The water in the foreground is pure gold. So many places to go - aren't we lucky to have photography as a hobby?

Max, I'm late to the party, but would like to join the very long line of people to say this is a lovely capture of a lone old lady and her dog. An emotive image with clear sharp tones. You're gifted and you use it well.
