Hello Nicki,

this one is part of a serie I shot for an article about this so called orphanage...had a great photographic time there with Heather and Wesley who came along. The weirdo that was hanging around there for about half an hour was less enjoyable :(
All is well, busy at work and holiday starts later in August.
Hi to Joé and Sam off course, you get a hug :)
Bye for now and thanks for the fine comment again :)

Gary,

if I understand your comment correctly I inspire you dragging more stuff along on your phototrips?
LOL, a job well done then :)
I must admit I have a love-hate relationship with my tripod, after visiting a derelict place for a few hours my shoulder does hurt due to carrying that thing from one room to another.
Oh well we all have to suffer for our little creations.....
Thanks for the very fine and appreciated comment!

Yes there was Michael, but the lefthand side was sunny and the other side was the shadowside...simple as that :)

Thanks for the comment Kiana :)

I don't think you have been there, this is an underground burial place that is abandoned for now. The side light comes from glass tiles in the ceiling in order to give some light in this crypte. The photo was shot around noon.
Have a great day,

Alain

Thanks Gary, actualy I seldom use flash or I must have strobist ideas at that moment. Whilst visiting places like this crypte or other abandoned and decayed places I'm already packed with a lot of stuff. The flash and triggers and batteries just don't fit anymore in my backpack :)

Randy,

thanks for the interest and fine comment. As you mention it is underground, but when the relatives came to mourn their beloved ones they couldn't be stuck in total darkness. Glass tiles are placed in the ceiling( every 2 meters or so) to give them a bit of light. At noon you'll have the most of light in this place.
Present light was of course enhanced with PS.
