dear james,
dali, escher, de chirico? a little far fetched, maybe.
but surely a lot more ps work than photography. why not say so?

dear marcy,
maybe i misunderstand the title. to me this looks more like a problem of space than of drinking. i don't see any drink whatsoever.
very well seen and composed and captured.

dear diana,
that's what we have to get along with in photo journalism. the picture editor is going to eliminate that anyway. but the actual face is what it is, in action after the action.
thank you for your kind comment.

or so it seems, antonio. in reflexions of reflexions in tinted glass fronts you rarely can measure in regular terms.
and then for me it is rather an abstract than a documentary and i think it shows, doesn't it?

your co0mment greatly appreciated though.

dear mark,
nice to meet you. i have been out for quite some time and am trying to catch up with all those new names, styles, pictures, discussions - in vain. there always only will be the day.
what a nice encounter and capture. great work. for this summer's holiday trip around europe i had the tamron 28-300 for the first time. i am enthusiastic about it, even more so as i had the 28-200 for such a long time and found it the make of a genius to give us such range at such low weight and price!

dear dave,
according to your self portrait you seem to be a lover of the cold, and probably you have to living in manitoba (?).
yes, there is beauty everywhere if we only care to stop and care to see - well seen here. i only believe a little too much green has tinted this the awkward way. good work anyway.

querida antonella,

as i have been absent for such a long time, i missed your change to digital and was looking for one of the last analog photos. this seems to be it. a strong landscape creating a very deep perspective by framing by the trees. inzteresting aspect is the grany film. good filter management for dramatic sky. very good work!

dear diana,
even as i don't feel the cold in your exceptional picture, i very well have a strong feeling of upcoming strong and bad weather. excellent use of technique making a strong impression.
after checking various times i tend to jan's opinion about the horizon. even though it might not be measurably tilting to the left, the impression does. but what the heck, it is strong, excellently seen and captured and the rest is peanuts. congratulations!

dear in transit,
a very interesting, surprising and creative capture of the camino. a most unusual view. looks like the best of artists' traditions, characterize by a few strokes to make distinguishable. very good.
we have not been in contact for a long time because i had to refrain of the uf-exchange board due to a lot of other engagements.
this and similar impressions i am looking forward to when in august we will join the trail for a week through the pyrenees on the spanish side.
