I think the shutter was 500, although I'm not entirely sure because I had it on Aperture priority.
I have to start noting things like that down I guess.

Hello everyone and thank you very much for your comments and suggestions!

I agree the top is distracting the eye and cropping the image works better in constraining the attention of the viewer in the center. (that bit of sky really bothers me)

However I feel some of the depth in the image is lost if I crop. I like the fact that they are sitting alone in open space and they're crammed in that bench like that. I had to sit on the bench across the street for quite a while to get a clear shot without any other people in my frame.

I don't mind the sharpness, this is a wonderful picture.
Very tight cropping for me but that is subjective ofcourse.
