Tilting the lens downward a bit would have drawn the eye into the horizon in a more dramatic manner.

I think this is a very interesting image. The light and the clouds suit the subject well. I have been toying around with this image since I feel that it has a lot of interesting components, but I think it may become visually stronger if some elements are left out. I have attached just one of a heap of interesting subimages I created out of your image. Probably, there are lots of even better subimages to be found !
