Aren't kids cool at this age! Unfortunately they turn into teenagers not too long after this. Nice shot.

for this one to work for me, it would need a more defined center of focus (i.e. make the part that really struck you noticable and stand out). for this particular shot, i would like to see a whole lot more of the bridge or none of the bridge at all. go back to the site and shoot some more pics with a billion different views and you'll start to take notice of what works and what doesn't. but most of all, have fun and enjoy your new hobby (it really is a great one)

Ah, let's see... that would be the Emma C Berry. Looks like you were there on one of those hazy hot summer days - not exactly beautiful light I'm afraid. Trying to decide if the mix of old and new works for or against this image - the big plastic boat does look out of place. This is a place with many photographic opportunities (tho' restrictive of commercial use of images snapped while on the property). I'd be curious to see what else you found there...

now this is a location with alot of potential shots. I think this photo would be improved alot with some contrast, the red bdg would just pop out then.
