Looks like a converted lighthouse. Great angle and contrast.

The joy of children looks wonderful in every part of the world. Thanks for sharing this image, the light is just a bit harsh, but it adds to the mood of happiness the girls exude.

Your comment is much appreciated - clarity is an issue for me, a frustration really. So I was happy about this shot in the front yard of the Twain Harte house.

Nice stop on his action. Hard to achieve and well worth the effort. Nice job.

Death Valley has many beautiful vista's and in these dunes it is often hard to avoid another photographer in the shot. There is a good location, though not that I'd post directions to here. Your angle to the dunes draws you into the photo nicely. Congrats on the POD!

The subject is political. It will never be correct. But I posted it as part of the concentricity project for this month. Conclusions can be drawn however one chooses. Thanks for the feedback.

This is an awesome presentation of a common kitchen tool. Make it in to art. I am impressed!

Nice coloring, pleasant framing of the subjects, good light. It's a great candid, but, don't they frown upon photos like these? Invasion of privacy?

But if you are to pick a good point it would be the composition, yes? But you have a point on the other issues.

Black and white was an excellent choice for this portrait. Give a different idea to the picture than color would.

Inventive view of this catenary. It so often shot in the average way, and just looks like the arch it is oftern reffered to as. But your angle will leave those not knowing what the picture is of guessing as to it actual shape. The clouds made for a much better background than a clear blue sky would have been. Nice job.

Abstract, but with a pattern to it. What a great perspective and vibrant color. The oridinary becomes extraordinary close up.

Beautiful contrast and compostion. I love the lack of a distracting background. I shall have to try black and white on my next go at flowers.

I agree with Michelle, definate Raw Materials photo. Of the batch taken that day, I like this one a lot, good tight cropping. Knowing the setting make's it different to view than the ones where I do not know the origin. It makes the critique different.

Red can be a hard color, seems to defy sharp focus sometimes. I do like your composition on this shot, but perhaps the flash requires a bit of adjusting to the final product? Good effort.

You're right about the banding. I'm new at processing RAW format, so I'm unsure how I fix that. Gotta learn. Thanks for the comment.

The sky has wonderful contrast, but the foreground is a bit washed out. Perhaps an adjustment can be made? I do like the composition and subject matter.
